Like any committed professional motorcycle journalist, improving my performance as both a rider and writer is very important to me. Truly understanding my subject and gaining a real insight into arguably the most exciting sport on earth was perhaps one of the main reasons I decided to invest a large sum of money in going racing. Well, that and a very competitive nature, anyway.

In 2006 I put together a series of features for Motorcycle Racer Magazine, where I visited all the UK's top clubs and gave my opinion on them.

I surpassed my own expectations, went from raw novice to national licence holder in seven months, scored 21 podiums including 10 wins and ended up becoming addicted to this beautiful if somewhat expensive sport.

2007 saw me compete in the fiercely-contested National MRO Supersport Championship. Despite suffering a cracked pelvis at the start of the year and running on a limited budget, I managed three podiums, one pole position and fifth overall in the series.

Subject to sponsorship funding for 2008 I'm hoping to compete in either the British Supersport Championship or the all-new, televised Thundersport GB Championship - feel free to download my sponsorship pack for more information on my racing activities.
